What is pickleball?
Pickleball is a racquet sport that has evolved from a mixture of other racquet sports, such as tennis, badminton, padel and table tennis. Pickleball is played with a slightly larger racket than that used in table tennis on a badminton-type court with a low net. The most common playing technique is therefore that of tennis or padel.
The ball used is made of plastic and perforated, which makes it possible to play both indoors and outdoors.
Pickleball can be played in doubles or singles. It is the ultimate racquet sport for everyone, as it is very quick and easy to learn. A very attractive feature of pickleball is the positive transfer it offers compared to other racquet sports such as tennis or padel, which can be slower and more complex to learn.
